Macie June

Macie June is a singer-songwriter known for her unique melodies and evocative lyrics. Her music, characterized by a colorful blend of indie pop and instrumental piano, tells stories of love, resilience, and self-discovery.

Raised in Broomfield, Colorado, Macie June's journey as a musician began in childhood. She grew up taking piano lessons and singing in her school’s choirs. When she was 14 years old, she combined her love of poetry with her classical background, and something clicked into place. Songs flowed freely out of her ever since.

Macie June's tunes sound like if Sarah Bareilles and Christina Perri were eating mint chocolate chip ice cream straight from the tub at a sad-girl-slumber party, their tears salting the spoon. Hardships guide her hands to the keys, and creating music is her rebirth.

In 2023, Macie released her first single “A Lifetime to Go” followed by her debut album “Cerulean.” In the following year, Macie worked with singer/songwriter and college friend Nicki Walters to write and produce their single "Embarrassed for You." That same year, Macie graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a Bachelor of Science in music. She finished university summa cum laude with both a singer/songwriter and recording arts focus. 

Looking ahead, Macie is committed to expanding her musical horizons and connecting with a broader audience. She is currently working with her four-part band to bring new music to venues around Colorado.
